What is Messaging?

Some WEconnect plans include a messaging option for additional support.  These plans can connect you with a Certified Peer Specialist (peer), a real person with recovery experience that has been where you are!  


Peers can help you define your goals, develop a recovery plan, navigate routines in the app, and provide other areas of support.


If your plan includes this option, you will receive a message on the Messaging tab in the app within the first few days of your membership to set up a communication plan.  Once you've established a plan, you can communicate with your peer thru the Messaging tab of the app or via phone/video chat if you prefer.
