If a routine occurs on a regular schedule, you can set it as a recurring routine instead of entering each one separately.  By default, routines are set to 'Repeats never'.  

To set a routine as recurring:

  1. Select the 'Repeats never' option when creating or editing a routine and select how often the routine should be scheduled.

  2.  Select how often the routine will repeat.  The options are daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, annually or custom.  Tap the appropriate option.  
    We will use the Custom option in our example to set a recurring routine for every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

  3. From the Custom repeat screen, tap number and time for how often the routine will occur.  We will choose every 1 week for our example.

  4. Next tap 'On' and pick the days of the week that the routine will occur.


  5. Once you have the days selected, click the back arrow in the upper left corner of the screen to return to the Custom  Repeat screen.

  6. You should now see the days that you selected.  Click the back arrow in the upper left corner again to return to the main screen of the routine.


  7. The routine will now repeat every week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

    Note: You can also use the 'Repeat does not end' option to set a date when the repeating schedule should stop if there is an end date for the routine.

  8. Be sure to tap Save in the upper right corner to save the changes!



To remove the repeating option from a routine:

  1. Open the routine you wish to update and tap Edit in the upper right corner.

  2. Tap the Repeats every option and then choose 'Never'.

  3. Tap Save in the upper right corner to save the changes.



To delete a recurring routine:

  1. Tap the routine that you wish to delete.

  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Routine.

  3. You will be prompted to choose whether to delete This Routine Only or This and all Following Routines.

  4. Select the option to delete This and all Following Routines to delete all instances of the routine.
